EXPERIENCE

Over the course of her career Sybil Ackerman-Munson has devised strategies worth $45 million for large and small private foundations, individual donors and public charities. She has a J.D. from Lewis and Clark Law School, a Masters Degree from the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies, and a B.S. from Scripps College.
Sybil has served on numerous boards, task forces and stakeholder groups. She also knows what it’s like to be a grantee. She worked for over ten years at environmental nonprofits prior to her work as a foundation advisor.
